According to the President’s Private Secretariat, President Ram Chandra Paudel has indicated his readiness to cover all costs associated with his medical care on his own.

According to a press statement from President Paudel’s press coordinator Khila Karki, the President has shown interest in paying for his own medical care at the AIIMS, New Delhi, in India.

President Paudel first sought treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital after complaining of health issues. After seeing little to no change in his health, he later received therapy at the AIIMS Hospital in New Delhi, India, at the advise of his medical professionals. It is to notify you that the President has indicated his readiness to cover all of the costs associated with his medical care on his own, according to the statement.

On April 19 for medical treatment, President Paudel departed for India. On April 30, he arrived home.
